Dynamic knee brace for increased control

The dynamic technology of the Breg Z-12 knee brace allows the brace to provide increased control at the time of medical need (see the tutorial in the video tab). Its dynamic hinges engage in the last 30 degrees of extension, when the tibia naturally wants to move interiorly. Further, a counterforce is applied to the front of the tibia just before the foot strikes to push it into proper alignment, just before it hits the ground. This provides increased joint position sense and knee stability.

An ACL knee brace

In an ACL ligament reconstructed knee, the hamstring reflex is still slowed. The Breg Z-12 is used as an ACL knee brace and can help protect the ACL graft by applying pressure to the tibia until the slowed hamstrings are able to react. This helps reduce the incidence of graft stretching which can occur in up to 25% of graft in athletes.

A knee brace for persons under 6 feet of height

This standard Breg Z12 knee brace is structurally designed for persons who are under 6 feet of height. An extended version is also available for taller persons.

Quick-release buckles
