An ankle splint for ankle instability helps to stabilize broken or sprained ankle, and to avoid recurring ankle sprain.
What is an ankle instability? How it happens?
Ankle instability is a chronic ankle injury. It occurs as a result of repetitive ankle sprains or fractures. Most common symptoms are: frequent twisted ankle, swelling and pain. Athletes are at higher risk than other people to develop an unstable ankle. Wearing an ankle brace while running; or playing Soccer, Basketball, Baseball or Football games, helps to avoid a repetitive ankle sprain.
