What NOT to do

  • Never pull your stockings up when wearing it. This will tear the fabric of your socks.
  • Never fold or roll the top band of your compression socks. This may result to more swelling due to slower blood flow.

  • Never apply oily skin care lotion on your legs before wearing it.

What to do

  • Use a special rubber gloves when donning your socks and stockings.
  • Keep your nails short to avoid accidentally tearing your hosiery.
  • Remove your rings before wearing it.
  • Take extra care of your stockings by wearing socks, shoes or slippers on your feet.
  • If it will make you feel more comfortable, you may wear loose fitting stockings over your compression stockings.
